Q: How does the team train between football and basketball season?
A: To train, we usually have normal workouts during football season, and then during basketball season it lessens up a bit. There’s a lot more emphasis on stunting and perfecting our routines.
Q: What was your favorite routine that you have done and why?
A: My favorite routine we have done was probably our homecoming performance because it was choreographed with the JV and varsity teams. There were a whole bunch of stunts which are fun, and everyone liked it.
Q: What are some of the main differences between your routines in the fall and winter?
A: During the winter, there is more actual dancing. In the fall season, we do more stunting because we are doing it on turf.
Q: Can you describe the environment and what it is like to perform at a basketball game?
A: At a basketball game, it’s a bit more nerve racking [than a football game] because everyone is standing right in front of you, but its super crowded and that makes it a lot of fun.
Q: What is something that you are looking forward to the most in the winter season?
A: I am really looking forward to either the Clayton rivalry game or senior night. On senior night, we mainly recognize our senior for all the work they put in, and they have their own solo that they perform.
