Q: What tournament or meet are you looking forward to the most this year?
A: “I’m really looking forward to the John Burroughs tournament… That’s where I remember getting my 1st win… But I also love the MICDS meet because, well, that’s where I win a lot of the time,” George Fister (12) said.
Q: What tournament or meet are you looking forward to the most this year?
A: “I’m excited for [the] Liberty tournament. I won it last year at 144 pounds, and I know this year at 150 [pounds] it is going to be tougher. There are going to be some good teams and tough competition, but I’m looking forward to going to dominate and bring home another title for the team…There’s a different culture surrounding this team. And I’m going to win every single match this season,” Darron Bell (11) said.
Q: What tournament or meet are you looking forward to the most this year?
A: “I think I’m most looking forward to the John Burroughs tournament this year because last year I placed first, and I wrestled against a girl that was my arch nemesis. I lost to her [two years ago], my first year, three times [losing], and it was just a great thing to face off against her again. So I’m looking to see if I can keep it up, keep getting first,” Madeline Summers (12) said.
Q: What tournament or meet are you looking forward to the most this year?
A: “Either John Burroughs or districts. I think John Burroughs is just a really fun tournament; I always have a bunch of matches,” Samantha Fink (11) said.
