The band concert will be held Thursday, Nov. 20 in the Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m.
Band director Aaron Lehde is excited for the Ladue community to listen to the performances prepared by each of the bands.
“The concert band, symphonic band, concert percussion ensemble and symphonic percussion ensemble will all perform,” Lehde said.
The bands will play a variety of pieces such as La Banda Nascente, Air for the G string and English Folk Song Suite, which they had been rehearsed since the beginning of the year.
“We rehearse during class [and] make improvements in areas such as intonation, [which is] tone and rhythmic accuracy,” Lehde said.
The concert is open to all and no tickets are needed for entrance. The concert will last an hour.
“It’s a great chance to hear what the band program at Ladue is all about,” Lehde said.
