The Asian Culture and Advocacy Group meets Feb. 5 to plan for their upcoming Lunar New Year celebration and matcha fundraiser. ACAG plans to sell matcha drinks during lunch and host the Lunar New Year celebration after school. “We’re super excited to do the fundraiser again this year since it was appreciated by so many last year,” Lillian Plumb (12) said. “And of course, we’ve been planning on bringing new features to the Lunar New Year celebration to make it even better.”

The Talking Rams' collection of trophies – representing decades of accomplishments – sits overlooking the multipurpose room. Under the guidance of Waterson and by supporting each other, team members have continued to succeed during this school year. "I'm trying to make sure the team gets what they need and has the resources they need," Waterson said. "But, students have been coaching each other and helping each other more than I have.
Ladue students compete at debate districts
Past editions of Melodrama lay on a table. The publication stopped taking submissions March 13. “I enjoy how Melodrama shows the different ways students express themselves through different art forms,” Co-Editor-in-Chief Maya Mathew (12) said.

STUCO holds a ticket sale for spectator bracelets during lunch. The 3v3 game took place March 5. "I love getting to do things like this to help out for school events, I also love getting to see who wanted to sign up," Talia Poremba (10) said.

Pablo Flinn, an incumbent candidate, speaks at the Meet the Candidates Community Forum March 30. The four candidates were invited to speak to community members and answer presubmitted questions in a forum organized by the League of Women Voters. "Every day, I show up to be of service," Flinn said. "I do it outside and inside of this role. I don’t get anything from it, but the knowledge that I’m being of service. That’s why I was put here. I will listen, I will honor your voice. On the current board, we’re willing to lean on each other, listen to each other, have tough conversations with each other. I will continue to be part of that.”

The project developed into a central passion for Mei and something she would like to continue. "St. Louis is special in the way that there is always an opportunity to take a step further and deepen impact. I hope to expand the scale of EmpowerEd, and continue helping the families out at TAP.
