Q: What is the main focus of this month’s meeting?
A: The main focus of our next meeting will be recapping last month’s fundraiser where our members raised over $4,000. We will introduce our first volunteer event of the year happening at the end of the month where our members will be able to have a positive impact on the larger community of Saint Louis. Like always, we will hear new ideas from people in the club and reflect on ways to improve engagement and outreach moving forward.
Q: How do you plan on fostering member participation in the meeting?
A: We always incorporate small group discussions and activities so everyone has a voice in shaping our plans. We’ll also highlight specific volunteer and fundraising opportunities and encourage members to take ownership of different parts of events.
Q: What is the biggest hurdle you anticipate in executing the next fundraiser, and how can members volunteer their skills/participation to help solve it?
A: Our biggest challenge will likely be driving attendance and spreading awareness beyond our club. Members can help by promoting the event on social media, designing posters/flyers, reaching out to other clubs for collaboration and inviting friends to attend.
Q: What do you hope will be a success at the meeting?
A: I hope members leave feeling motivated, excited and clear on their individual roles. A successful meeting will end with finalized plans and a confident vibe as members are ready to bring ideas to life.
Q: What’s one fun thing members can look forward to seeing or doing at the meeting?
A: We’ll have a celebration of our most recent fundraiser with many prizes and activities recapping it. Members can also look forward to another opportunity to be involved in the club and the greater community.
