Ladue UNICEF held its first meeting of the year Sept. 11 in the teleconference room. The meeting lasted roughly 30 minutes and covered what the club will look like this year.
UNICEF President Jordan Oiknine (12) explained the club’s mission and shared an overview of what the year would look like.
“The club is great because you’re making a real difference in the lives of thousands, millions of children today,” club officer Talia Poremba (10) said.
The meeting also covered the various fundraisers and volunteer opportunities that the club will host this year.
“We do a bunch of fundraisers like the bake sale, the Snowball, the Trick or Treat fundraiser,” Poremba said. “We also work to provide UNICEF’s members with various volunteer opportunities.”
